I bought two Yamaha AG200's (a 2013 and a 2017 model). In this video I make a list of everything that's wrong with the bikes. For more bike stuff, check out https://adventurebiketroop.com/ #AG200 #TW200 #Yamaha

I just bought two Yamaha AG200s. Before we start playing around and fooling around with these bikes
0:05
I want to quickly run through everything that needs work on the two bikes. So stick around
0:15
Hi, I'm Franco from adventurebiketroop.com and I've just bought very unplanned two
0:22
similar motorcycles. It's Yamaha AG200s. The one is a a 2007 model the nice one and the other one is a 2014 so this video I just
0:31
quickly want to go through all the problems all the issues that I've quickly
0:35
seen on these bikes and we're gonna address all of them on this channel so
0:39
we can first look at the nice one this is the 2017 model and sorry I think this
0:44
one's 2013 this is one is 2017 you can already see that the plastics are in a
0:48
much better condition and it hasn't stood in the Sun out as long as the other
0:52
one it definitely feels straighter so let's have a quick look at the major issues the first thing is
0:58
the front brakes are completely gone or or it needs adjustment i don't know we'll check the
1:03
pads as well but there's very little front front brakes the crash bars had a big knock here it's
1:09
completely dented i not sure whether this is aluminum or probably steel hopefully steel and just bend it right back and and probably paint it the oil filter drain plug the bottom plug there is definitely not the original bolt and it leaks out there there an o underneath there so hopefully there no crack
1:26
but it leaks oil from there so when we change the oil we'll fix that. It's got a flat battery but luckily it's got a backup kickstart
1:33
and then the one mirror needs adjustment. But as far as I can see that is the only real issues apart from a proper service
1:41
Then we'll go through everything else like fork seals and all of that, but there's no leaking or anything there
1:46
Then let's go over to the other one the not so nice one. This is the 2013 model
1:51
You can see the plastics are completely faded. It definitely stood out in the
1:55
elements for longer. These were two bikes that were bought on an auction and
2:00
Then I bought it from the guy that bought it at the auction. So agricultural auction
2:04
First thing that I immediately felt when I test rode the bikes, the guy actually dropped it off at my house
2:09
He drove 300 kilometers or that's 200 miles to get here and just to drop off the bikes without a guarantee that I would purchase
2:18
one even I said I'll purchase one but then I ended up taking two
2:22
so The front forks or something in the front and it's completely bent or definitely you can't really see it if you look at the bike
2:28
If you sit on it it definitely pulls to the left and it not the handlebars It looks to be the fork legs So hopefully it a quick fix hopefully one of the forks are just not tightened in a skew or something hopefully it not a
2:43
completely bent fork, but we'll try to fix that, that's the biggest issue. Apart from that, the bike ride's fine, the neutral light's not working, the dash light
2:52
goes on but not the neutral light, so that shouldn't be a huge problem, the taillight
2:56
wiring is a bit of a mess I'll sort that out I like to clean up the clean up the
3:02
stuff there's some oil on the left hand side of the engine that looks above the
3:07
the place where the cylinder head sits so hopefully it's not a leafy maybe it's
3:12
just dirt I don't know I don't think the bike forever clean so that needs look at
3:17
I need to wash the bikes but I wanted to make this video before I do anything on bikes the clutch lever, ease adjustment, definitely too slack there, the handlebar
3:27
protectors are missing that's why the front brake lever is broken, the faded
3:34
plastics I mentioned that I'll see if I can make a video on restoring that I've
3:38
seen a lot and there's different techniques and so we'll try some of that then the rear indicator is broken or it just came off its bracket so that'll be
3:48
a quick fix the chain is completely dry it needs a good clean or probably replacement I have to check the sprockets as well but as far as stuff that is obvious goes that about it for
4:02
these two bikes and like I said in the previous video the first one where I revealed the bikes and I bought both of these bikes for less than the cheapest
4:09
TW in the same condition and that was undidgested these both have titles or
4:15
papers or registration that they're both roadworthy or they will be but they're
4:19
both registered anyways that's that's it that needs fixing on these bikes so in the next video
4:26
we'll take one of these bikes out for a first ride you can see what it feels like and then we'll
4:32
start working on them fixing them I'll start with probably start with a nicer one and just service
4:38
it properly and run through it I'll run through all of it on a video and then we'll tackle the
4:45
bent one and see if we can get it up to the same condition and maybe even try to
4:51
get a little bit more performance out of the the one that's got there you'll see
4:56
the not so nice one the 2013 one the faded one has an off the market pipe so
5:02
if there's mods to be done that's the one I'll do it on. Anyways thank you for
5:06
joining me and let me know what you think of ag bikes and what you want to
5:11
see in this channel and yeah see you next week
